The Story
D.K. Mckenzie is a prolific writer, composer, and artist from New England. To date, he has penned over one thousand poems and self-published five collections of poetry.
His latest project is the music / poetry podcast he calls The Poe Underground, which combines both spoken word poetry and original music. The podcast is released bi-weekly and is on Spotify, Apple, Pandora etc..
D.K. learned to play music at seven years old, learning both violin and piano. In college he was accepted into the music program.
As of 2024 he has composed and produced four albums and two audio books.
